We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Solar and Battery Installer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the installation, connection, and commissioning of solar PV systems, battery storage units, and related components in line with Australian Standards and Clean Energy Council (CEC) guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install rooftop solar PV systems (panels, racking, wiring, and inverters)
- Install and commission residential and commercial battery storage systems (e.g. Tesla Powerwall, Sungrow, AlphaESS, etc.)
- Connect solar and battery systems to switchboards and ensure proper integration with existing electrical setups
- Run conduit and cabling for AC and DC components
- Perform system testing, fault finding, and commissioning
- Maintain accurate job records, including system photos, wiring layouts, and installation notes
- Communicate effectively with the team and customers on-site
- Keep tools, equipment, and vehicles clean, safe, and well-maintained
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- White Card (Construction Induction Card) - Bonus
- Working at Heights Certification - Bonus
- Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness
- Experience with brands like Sungrow, GoodWe, Tesla, AlphaESS, etc. is a plus
- Physical fitness and ability to work on rooftops
- Good attitude is a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
