Operating from our two Craigieburn factories, we serve clients across local councils, industry, construction, and commercial sectors throughout Victoria.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Painter with expertise in spray painting to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and applying high-quality paint finishes to various surfaces of our modular buildings, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming.
- Apply paint using spray equipment to achieve a uniform finish.
- Mix and match paint colors to meet specific project requirements.
- Maintain and clean painting equipment and work areas.
- Ensure all painting work meets company quality standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a professional painter, with a focus on spray painting techniques.
- Proficiency in using various spray painting equipment and tools.
- Strong understanding of paint properties, color matching, and surface preparation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality assurance.
Desirable Attributes:
- Experience in the modular construction industry.
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in painting.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
