ABOUT THE JOB
Midland Salvos Stores are looking for a Store Manager to efficiently and effectively manage all aspects of one retail site to maximise sales and profitability. You will drive and lead the team whilst providing an inspiring in-store experience for customers and community members.
Reporting to the Area Manager, this is a permanent, full-time role located in Midland, WA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive store success - Lead retail operations to hit sales and surplus targets.
- Maximise stock efficiency ensuring all products are ordered, priced, and displayed according to Salvos Stores’ standards and values.
- Inspire and lead a team of employees and volunteers, with regular training and performance feedback.
- Keep budgets on track, managing rosters and wages to ensure cost efficiency.
- Boost volunteer engagement, building a passionate, committed team.
- Build strong community connections, working with local Salvation Army groups, councils, and community partners.
ABOUT YOU
- Management experience in a retail setting (required).
- Customer service experience.
- Excellent people leadership and management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience using Workday HCM system (highly regarded).
- Alignment with The Salvation Army Mission and Values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity.
