About the role
The Store Manager role is a Full-time position, based at Brookvale, NSW. Reporting to the Area Manager you will join our Gyprock business and assist in the customer service, sales, warehouse duties and lead the team.
In this role you will:
- Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past.
- Manage the sales and operation activities of our store.
- Ensure the store meets budget, including reviewing the areas of potential store improvement.
- Promote and manage catalogue sales and campaigns in the store to grow category sales and maintain margin.
- Maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers.
- Work with Inventory and State Manager to ensue inventory is executed in line with national direction and improvement opportunities are identified.
- Ensure compliance in your store of retail ready standards and behaviours including housekeeping, merchandising and presentation.
- Monitor and coach employees under your direct supervision, ensuring Achieve performance and training / development plans are achieved.
- Forklift licence is desirable, willing to obtain.
You will be working Monday - Friday 6am-3pm. Saturdays rotating fortnightly (or as required) 7am-11am.
