About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Storeperson to support the day-to-day operations of our hotel’s loading dock and inventory systems. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and checking deliveries, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring goods are properly stored and distributed to relevant departments. Your contribution will be vital in keeping hotel operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect all incoming goods to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with order specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised loading dock and storage areas
- Accurately record stock movements and manage inventory levels using purchasing software (e.g. Purchase Plus)
- Liaise professionally with hotel departments, suppliers, and delivery personnel to coordinate stock requirements and deliveries
- Prepare and reconcile regular stock reports, assist with audits, and support stock control processes
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment through proper manual handling practices
About You:
- Previous experience in a storeperson, warehouse, or cellar role, preferably within hospitality or hotels
- Familiarity with purchasing and inventory systems (experience with Purchase Plus is highly regarded)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude
- Physically capable of manual handling tasks, with a commitment to working safely at all times
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently while maintaining high standards

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $32.31 – $38.78 per hour
Experience:
- Warehouse / Cellar Hand: 1 year (Preferred)
- Storeperson: 1 year (Preferred)
