Woolworths at Work, launched in September 2020, aims to redefine the B2B grocery supply market, expanding from food supply to a comprehensive one-stop shop for business needs. This standalone ecommerce business prioritises a digital-first strategy, providing a best-in-class digital experience and pioneering new technologies for business customers.

Aligned with the Woolworths Group purpose, Woolworths at Work strives to provide reliable partnerships and contribute to healthier working and learning environments for all Australians, delivering comprehensive customer experience to a diverse client base, from large enterprises to SMEs, across various sectors.

What you’ll do
As a Strategic Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, fostering, and securing new growth opportunities across priority verticals, and customers, be it in our acquisition stream, or our growth stream.

You’ll spend a significant portion of your time on the road, meeting customers face-to-face, understanding their evolving needs, and delivering solutions that drive long term value.


  • Own the end-to-end relationship for a defined portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts, and be responsible for managing & growing a portfolio of high-value enterprise customers through deep, trusted relationships

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive account growth, advocacy and share of wallet expansion

  • Foster a strategic partnership to align on long-term goals and co-develop initiatives for sustained growth

  • Conduct regular in-person meetings, presentations, and discovery sessions to understand customer needs and position tailored solutions

  • Work with internal teams to shape offers and proposals aligned to customer requirements

  • Deliver meaningful and impactful presentations and insights to customers

  • Represent the brand professionally in the market through networking events, conferences, and industry meetings

  • Provide a seamless E2E onboarding experience and early adoption

  • Regularly meet with key customers in person to understand their needs and opportunities & share latest data and insights

  • Create and document comprehensive account plans outlining strategies and tactics for retaining and growing individual enterprise accounts

  • Lead and manage contract renewals and negotiations for key customers for portfolio

  • Monitor account health across the portfolio of accounts and proactively address any risks or challenges. Implement corrective actions as needed


What you’ll bring

  • 6+ years of experience in sales management, account management, or customer success roles, preferably in a B2B or e-commerce environment

  • Proven track record of managing and growing enterprise accounts

  • Extensive experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders at enterprise-level accounts

  • Experience in handling contract renewals and negotiations

  • Proficiency in negotiating and closing deals

  • Strong analytical skills to assess account performance, market trends and customer data

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to different stakeholders

  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address client issues and improve processes

  • Creative thinking to develop innovative retention and growth strategies

  • Commercially minded and results driven
