THE ROLE
Within Student Life, the Student Hub is responsible for providing quality and timely advice to students who attend in person and have general and course advice enquiries. The Hub team also responds to escalated complex digital enquiries and provides support to Schools for relevant administrative processes related to the academic program and the needs of students.
Reporting to the Coordinator, Student Hub this role is responsible for effectively providing a broad range of customer focused, student advice to all ECU students and school support operations. The Student Adviser also acts as an escalation point for the Student Hub front of house team for the more complex student enquiries and would have a broad knowledge of student administrative processes, courses, and support services.
KEY CRITERIA
The successful candidate will have:
A strong customer focus and experience in providing customer support and enquiry services;
Knowledge of student administrative processes, support services and tertiary student systems;
Continuous improvement approach to the workplace; and
Problem solving and decision-making skills
You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence, and Courage.
TALENT POOL OPPORTUNITY
We are also seeking to establish a recruitment pool that will service the South West campus so those deemed appointable in this recruitment process may be eligible for any upcoming permanent, fixed-term, full-time, part-time or casual Student Adviser positions that arise in the next six (6) months.
BENEFITS AND REMUNRATION
These positions attract remuneration of $77,040 to $82,054 pa pro rata plus university superannuation contribution.
