As the Sugar Cane Bn Handling Assistant, you will work closely with the team to ensure a steady supply of bins for the sugar crush. This role is fixed term and will be an opportunity for you to get your "feet wet" in the sugar industry and find out if it is a career you would like to pursue.

Your Role in Action
- Pulling rakes of cane bins onto the full bin creeper to maintain a constant unbroken supply of bins
- Ensuring bins are uncoupled prior to the tippler and re-coupled after tipping
- Keeping the work area and surrounding areas clean and tidy
- Provision of assistance in cleaning mill chokes and other duties during stoppages or as specified by the Shift Supervisor
- Demonstrate awareness of general quality control standards
- Assist tradesmen in the maintenance and repair of mill equipment and machinery if required
Your Winning Combination
Our ideal candidate will have a "can do" attitude with a commitment to a safe working environment. You will be able to communicate effectively, including using the mill radio systems, and have a willingness to undergo further training if required.
