About the Opportunity
Piacentini & Son are seeking an experienced Superintendent, Planning & Reliability based at our corporate offices in either Picton or Perth, Western Australia. This is an exciting new role, accountable for leading the integrated planning, materials logistics, and reliability functions to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective asset performance.
Reporting directly to the General Manager - Maintenance the primary purpose of the role is to ensure work is planned and executed effectively, supply chains are responsive and reliable, and asset reliability is continuously improved to support business objectives. A key component of the role will be the coaching of a team new to work management processes
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Maintenance Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning, logistics coordination, and asset reliability roles in heavy industry.
- Strong knowledge of CMMS systems and reliability tools (e.g., RCA, RCM).
- Demonstrated leadership experience in cross-functional technical teams.
- Exposure to work management processes, and budget preparation is critical.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the Maintenance Planning & Scheduling function, including coordinating with all production, maintenance and project teams, maintenance systems (MaintainX) and process compliance.
- Oversee and implement Asset reliability capability and processes to improve asset performance.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of planners and logistics coordinators.
- Track key maintenance, asset and reliability performance indicators, to identify and lead Performance Management & Continuous Improvement programs
- Lead Logistics & Materials Planning and Mobilisation to ensure timely delivery and availability of parts, tools, and equipment and optimise inventory levels.
