About the opportunity
At StarTrack, our Network Operations team in Orange is the beating heart of freight movement in NSW. As a Supervisor, you’ll lead a team in Orange, ensuring operations run smoothly, safely, and on time. This is a fast-paced, high-impact leadership role that plays a crucial part in how we deliver to customers—on time, every time. What you’ll deliver with us
As Supervisor, reporting to the Duty Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day freight handling operations within our Orange facility. You’ll ensure KPIs are met, safety is never compromised, and your team has the guidance and support they need to thrive. Success in this role means delivering consistent, cost-effective service while empowering your people to do their best work. .
You’ll also
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Freight Handlers.
- Ensure the safe and timely unloading of freight to meet Fleet schedules.
- Manage daily rosters and workloads to balance cost and productivity targets.
- Monitor compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and scanning requirements.
- Work cross-functionally with Fleet, Facility and Linehaul teams to improve efficiency.

You’ll also need
- Demonstrated team leadership experience in a unionised or fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of CoR, safety legislation, and operational compliance.
- Experience managing rosters, performance metrics, and service level expectations.
- Proficiency in analysing operational data to drive improvements.
