The Business
Genus Pole Foundations Australia Pty Ltd (Genus PFA) is a subsidiary of the ASX-listed GenusPlus Group (GNP) and a market leader in asset inspection and reinstatement services for utility providers and the private sector.
We are seeking a qualified and driven Supervisor with expertise in managing pole inspection programs. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of our business, ensuring seamless delivery of services to clients while maintaining high standards in safety, quality and efficiency.
This is a full-time, permanent, office-based role located at our Rockhampton depot. You will work a standard 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, while being part of a company with long-term contracts and ongoing growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide SHEQ leadership and management, ensuring all work is conducted safely and meets compliance standards.
- Oversee the scheduling, management and monitoring of pole inspection, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
- Manage a team of approximately 20 staff plus subcontractors involved in the inspection and maintenance of poles.
- Control and manage the P&L for the business, driving operational efficiency and profitability.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for client concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Promote a lean operational culture, continuously improving processes to deliver high-quality outcomes efficiently.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a management role, ideally within the utilities, asset inspection, or pole reinforcement industries.
- Strong understanding of power utility operations and pole asset management.
- Proven leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve business goals.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, suppliers, and staff.
- Capability to operate autonomously, showing initiative, while also thriving in a collaborative team setting.
- Proven ability to manage high-pressure situations while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
