WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for an experienced support worker who would prioritise participants' engagement and well-being while supporting them within the community and in their own homes.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Confident in delivering supports to participants with high physical needs
- Experience in Manual Handling
- Experience in Stromal Bag Care
- Experience with Bowel Care
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 1 year of experience working as a support worker.
- Hold a Certificate IV in Disability or Individual Support or equivalent at a minimum.
- Compassionate, caring attitude and proven ability to provide direct care services with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – able to complete, read and understand standard documentation.
- WWVPC
- Police Clearance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain
- Persons with lived experiences are highly recommended to apply.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $34.00 – $40.00 per hour
