The Role:
As a Support Worker in Watervale, SA, you will be responsible for assisting clients with various daily activities, including showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, medication monitoring, shopping, meal preparation, housekeeping, respite care, social support, and transportation to appointments.
This client requires assistance with personal care for 2 hours per fortnight for a hearing impaired client with a cognitive impairment.
The client is flexible on days and times of the shifts as long as it is not on a Tuesday. Shift can be in the morning or afternoon.
This is our only client in Watervale so we can not offer additional hours at this stage however this is a good opportunity to give back to the community while making a little extra money on the side.
Must have experience with personal care.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- National Police Clearance Certificate
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- Smartphone
- Must have experience with Personal care
