Global Logistics provides sophisticated supply chain solutions, from end-to-end or part solutions, warehousing and distribution to dedicated transport solutions, across the globe and to some of the most remote corners of the world. Our Grocery services include the provision of warehousing services and an integrated transport strategy interstate and intrastate for large supermarkets and retailers with a diverse product range.
The Role
We are in search of a high calibre Sustainability and Systems Analyst. In this role you will drive our sustainability agenda forward. You will have the opportunity to conduct thorough analyses of a wide range of data to develop sustainability strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop and maintain data visualisations and dashboards. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, project management capabilities, and a deep understanding of sustainability principles in the logistics industry.
As the Sustainability and Systems Analyst, you will:
- Data Management and Visualisation: Design and maintain processes for data collection and sustainability metrics, automate data extraction and transformation, and create monthly reports using PowerBI and Excel.
- Regulatory Reporting and Strategy Development: Develop data models and perform analysis for sustainability reports and support the creation of sustainability strategies and goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide quality sustainability information, educate employees on data collection, and offer training on visualisation tools.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices and trends, drive initiatives to enhance sustainability governance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Data Accuracy and Consistency: Ensure accuracy and consistency across all data visualisations and optimise performance.
- Troubleshooting and Optimisation: Troubleshoot issues with visualisations and optimise their performance.
What We’re Looking For

- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Sustainability, or a related combination.
- Proven experience in developing data visualisations and dashboards, preferably in a Sustainability/Finance environment.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Strong understanding of data modelling.
- Experience with implementing digital sustainability data management and reporting solutions is beneficial.
- MSM (Microsoft Sustainability Manager) skills as preferred.
