Woree Sports and Aquatics Centre is a locally run pool, located on the southside of Cairns. Home to the Cairns Stingrays Swimming Club, and Li'l Stingers Swim School. We have a busy facility with a 50m pool, two outdoor kids pools and an indoor heated pool.
The WSAC team are extremely passionate about swimming, and promoting the healthy lifestyle choice of being in and around the water in sunny FNQ.
Woree Sports & Aquatic Centre has opportunities for the right person to learn a variety of tasks and work with a great team.
- Current Lifeguard Certificate (or willing and eligible to complete)
- First Aid Certificate (including CPR).
- Dedication to putting safety first
- To be able to work effectively under pressure and easily able to adapt to situations.
- To be a team player with exceptional communication skills with both staff and customers.
- Willing to learn all areas of the facilities operations inc Swim Teaching
- To be able to work shifts according to a 7 day roster (any time between 5am to 8pm)
- Good supervision skills

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
