C&M Aquatic Centre is a family owned business providing swimming lessons at Padstow.
We are seeking motivated, reliable, dedicated, enthusiastic people who are interested in becoming a qualified Swimming Instructor.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide swimming instruction in a safe, fun and educational way to enable children to develop essential swimming skills
- Ensure a safe environment for children under your care
- Be aware of children and activities around you at all times
- Prepare lesson plans
- Continually assess student’s performance
Hours of Work:
Shifts available Monday to Friday 9.30am to 12.00pm, 3.30pm to 7.00pm and Saturday 8.00am to 12.00pm. Successful applications are expected to commit to a minimum of 2 shifts per week.
Qualifications and skills:
- Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety*
- CPR Certificate*
- Working with Children check*
- Experience in the aquatic environment (optional)
- Excellent communication skills
*Can be obtained once the applicant is successful in this position.
Hourly rates will be based upon the fitness industry award dependent upon your age and qualification.
