The Opportunity
Joining the Talent, Development & Engagement team, you’ll partner with front-line managers across Aveo communities to attract, engage and source top talent. Bringing your unique flair, passion for people and a collaborative & fast-paced attitude, you’ll manage the end-to-end recruitment for volume positions, providing positive solutions to leaders, champion the candidate experience and actively promote Aveo’s employer brand. Most importantly, you’ll have a can-do mindset that enhances a high-performing talent acquisition function.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based at our Sydney CBD Corporate Office, working five days per week. We also welcome applications from Brisbane-based candidates.

- Manage a portfolio of volume, front-line operational roles (e.g. Personal Care Attendants, Food & Beverage Attendants), including job brief, sourcing, screening, interview bookings, candidate feedback and pre-employment checks.
- Be creative and resourceful in sourcing top talent through talent pools and alternative channels.
- Complete a wide range of recruitment compliance and administration tasks, including but not limited to, updating candidate records & documentation, reference checks, medicals, police checks and employment offer contracts.
- Deliver a memorable candidate experience and champion an inclusive, fun and accessible hiring process.
- Positively promote Aveo’s Employer Value Proposition (EVP) through candidate interactions, social media posts, careers fairs and networking events.
- Collaborate with a wide range of internal stakeholders such as workforce management, injury management, operations and HR services.
- Provide sound advice to hiring leaders on rostering, award pay rates, compliance and candidate experience.
- Previous experience in a Recruitment, HR, people or operations management role within a large or dynamic business.
- Exceptional customer service experience, with a focus on adaptability, prioritisation and a can-do attitude.
- A self-motivating approach with a passion for resident satisfaction, candidate experience and boosting team culture.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage competing workloads and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams). Previous experience working with a recruitment ATS is advantageous, but not essential.
- Two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required).
