Asset Management Engineers (AME) is a leading provider of asset management, inspection, testing and training services to the mining, energy, and infrastructure sectors. AME assist our clients in meeting regulatory requirements for their plant and equipment.

About the Role

Due to continued growth and demand for our tank inspection services, AME are currently looking for experienced self-motivated individuals to join our Inspection Team based in Perth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation that is well regarded within industry.

Accountabilities

  • Perform Inspections, Testing and Audits on tanks and other items of Registered Plant.
  • Produce high quality detailed reports related to Inspections, Testing and Audits.
  • Use specialist inspection and test equipment as required in the performance of inspections, NDT and auditing.
  • Review of engineering design documentation, MDRs and plant registration documentation.
  • Use knowledge and skills, from qualifications and experience, to assess compliance of tanks and other items of Registered Plant in accordance with relevant WA legislation and Standards.
  • Provide technical support, documentation and advice related to compliance, industry best practices, and optimal use of tanks and plant.

Essential Criteria

  • Applicants must possess the following skills and attributes:
  • API653 certification
  • To understand and have a thorough knowledge of all applicable API/ASME Standards, Work Health Safety Act 2020, Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022, Work Health and Safety (General) Regulations 2022.
  • An effective communicator, both in written and verbal communications.
  • High attention to detail and strong report writing skills.
  • Must have unrestricted right to work in Australia.
  • Current WA driving licence.

Preferred criteria

  • Mechanical Engineering qualifications
  • AICIP or API510
  • NDT (UT, MT, PT, EC – Level 2)
  • Crane Inspection experience

Remuneration

Remuneration package will depend on individual experience, certifications, and skill set.
