As a TAFE Teacher you will have the opportunity to impart your extensive industry knowledge and experience to students using a variety of delivery methods including in the classroom, online, and workplace. The Role
As a TAFE Teacher with the Faculty of Nursing and Community Services, you have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge to students in a classroom or other educational setting.
We have an exciting temporary part-time position available until 16 January 2026 (unless otherwise determined) to join our team at TAFE Queensland's Caboolture Campus.
This position reports to the Educational Team Leader.
Salary
The salary range for a Teacher is $91,202.92 - $103,240.52 (gross) per annum, depending on educational qualifications held and teaching experience.

Mandatory Qualifications/Requirements
Applicants must possess the following voctional competences at least to the levelbeing delivered and assessed:
Possession of Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent relevant qualification in education, health, science, arts, allied health, public health or health promotion.
Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a registered nurse.
Minimum 5 years' experience in the health and nursing industry.
Additionally, to become a TAFE Teacher, you must hold one of the following training and assessment credentials:
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
A diploma or higher-level qualification in adult or vocational education (approved by TAFE Queensland).
Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided.
Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided.
Evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment.
