Northern Beaches Secondary College Cromer Campus (enrolment 1163 students) is a comprehensive co-educational school located on the northern beaches of Sydney. Cromer Campus has recently experienced a substantial increase in student numbers due to a range of successful programs. The school is also experiencing significant growth in students’ academic achievement and a strong commitment to the values of respect, responsibility and success.
At NBSC Cromer Campus there is a strong emphasis on quality teaching and high expectations across all areas of school life. Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach ENG English Years 7-10 and ESG English Years 11-12 with demonstrated knowledge of the Secondary English Syllabus 7-12
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging differentiated lessons to students with a diverse range of learning needs.
- Ability to use effective classroom management skills and wellbeing practices to create a learning environment that is engaging, inclusive and fosters a culture of high expectations.
- Demonstrated capacity to work as an effective team member of a faculty and a commitment to whole-school programs.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
Applicants seeking either permanent full time or permanent part time employment are encouraged to apply for this position. If the recommended applicant is seeking permanent part time employment (FTE from 0.1 to 0.9 inclusive), they will be offered an appointment at their desired FTE.
