Randwick High School's foundation year in 2025 marks the beginning of a new era for public education in the Eastern Suburbs area. Founded in a rich heritage of public education, we draw strength in our diverse and engaged learning community. Our school will serve approximately 1500 students in its inaugural year, and celebrates its inclusivity, catering for students of all needs and many cultural backgrounds (including 58% from language backgrounds other than English). Our teachers provide a wealth of rich learning experiences to engage all students in extending their potential and pursuing their passions. We will offer a broad curriculum, energising learners through classroom and co-curricular experiences. The school enjoys a history of strong HSC achievement and rich learning pathways, combining care for students' wellbeing with high academic standards. Selection Criteria
Approval to teach Food Technology
Proven ability in classroom management and the capacity to manage practical workspaces to ensure student safety, participation and engagement in lessons to enhance student learning opportunities.
Capacity to design and implement quality programs and resources that foster a culture of high expectations for a diverse range of student needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively to foster positive relationships and a supportive learning culture within the school community.
