About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher – Individual Support to deliver engaging, industry-relevant education that supports students in achieving their learning and career goals in aged care and disability services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and assess training aligned with VET and curriculum requirements.
- Develop and maintain student learning programs and resources.
- Support student engagement, attendance, and outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with industry and participate in curriculum development and validation.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
- Promote and participate in continuous improvement and professional development.
Skills and Experience Required
- CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged/Disability) or higher qualification.
- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
- Recent experience in aged care and/or disability services, with a focus on aged care .
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and learner-centred teaching.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and ICT skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
- Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (desirable).
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate will be required to provide:
A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
A National Police Check
