About the role

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of bricklaying students by joining our team of teachers on a casual basis at TAFE NSW’s Tighes Hill Campus, Newcastle.

About You

To be successful in the role you will:

1. Hold appropriate subject knowledge, skills and with a minimum level of Certificate III in Bricklaying or equivalent and a commitment to maintain technical currency.

2. Have a minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.

3. Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training. See the candidate support document (here) for details

4. Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
