Applicants for these positions must possess:
Ability to plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs for every student across Prep - Year 6 (music curriculum).
Contribute to the development and implementation of the school objectives and school planning, by stimulating and encouraging the formation of choirs and junior music appreciation groups as may be decided upon at the school level through consultation (e.g Ukelele group; bucket drumming).
Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive school environment, specifically by exercising of professional teaching responsibility and duty of care for their students, during and outside the normal school day (if coordinating music appreciation groups such as choir etc)

Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. Pre-service/graduate teachers must have been granted provisional registration prior to commencing employment as a teacher. For more information regarding registration requirements, please Click Here.
Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
