Woolooware High School is a high performing 7-12 coeducational and comprehensive public school in the
Sutherland Shire offering quality education for young people that ensures their success in the future across
a range of abilities and talents. With an enrolment of around 790 students in 2025, including 2% of students from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background, we proudly celebrate growth and learning for all our students

Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach Science (Years 7-10) and Stage 6 Physics.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver effective and engaging lessons that support the learning of a
broad range of abilities, to maximise student growth and promote high expectations for all
students. Evidence of effective and supportive classroom management practices to encourage all students
to engage with their learning. - Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and organisational skills with the capacity to build
positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents, carers and the school community to
achieve school goals.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
