The Role
We have an exciting permanent position for a Team Assistant in our Melbourne Business Development team. This role will support initiatives that enable our law practices to grow their business and enhance client relationships. You will be highly organised and personable and someone who enjoys an environment where no two days are the same!
Key Responsibilities:
- Support BD planning process by arranging and managing appointments, diaries and emails
- Foster relationships with external groups and identify new opportunities
- Coordinate involvement in referred events as well as organise and delivery MB events
- Create and update calendar of events
- Complete general market, industry specific, competitor and prospective client research
- Providing general administrative support and coordination as required
The experience we are looking for:
- Sales, marketing or commerce focused tertiary qualification
- Understanding of business development, sales or marketing principles
- Experience in event management/coordination
- Experience working in a high-volume work environment
- Ability to adapt to different styles and build rapport with people at different levels
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities and attributes
- Well-developed communication skills (written, oral and interpersonal) in liaising with internal and external clients
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently to plan, coordinate and organise projects
