Overview
The Skytraders Technical Services Officer plays a critical in the Airworthiness Department. The primary function involves carrying duties that ensure the continuing airworthiness of the Skytraders fleet, while also ensuring optimal aircraft availability and operational efficiency.
The Technical Services Officer strives to maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and industry regulations. By carrying out continuing airworthiness activities effectively, this role significantly contributes to the company's safety, reliability and client satisfaction.
Duties
The key responsibilities in the role will include:
· Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA): Ensure ICA for the Skytraders fleet are current and the Aircraft Maintenance Program / System of Maintenance is updated accordingly.
· Engine Trend Monitoring: Carry out Skytraders fleet Engine Trend Monitoring duties as required.
· Reliability Program: Assist with Skytraders fleet Reliability Program duties as required.
· Technical Publications Library: Assist with Skytraders fleet Technical Publications Library duties as required.
· Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with Operations and Engineering including regular communication with maintenance teams, flight crews, and other stakeholders to keep all parties informed of operational statuses and changes.
· Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvements in by monitoring and where possible implementing more efficient methods and procedures.
· Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all Technical Services comply with aviation industry regulations and standards, staying updated with regulatory changes and implementing necessary adjustments.
The key accountabilities in the role will include:
· ICA Monthly Reports: Work with Technical Services staff to ensure that all Technical Information is processed in a timely manner and that any resultant additional maintenance requirements are captured.
· AMP / SoM Updates: Work with the Technical Services Manager and Continuing Airworthiness Manager / Maintenance Controller to draft amendments to the AMP / System of Maintenance.
· Configuration Management: Ensure the integrity of the configuration management of the Skytraders Fleet.
· Supplier Coordination: Manage supplier and OEM relationships for necessary Technical Services outcomes.

· A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (desirable).
· 4+ years experience in aircraft engineering and continuing airworthiness.
· Experience in managing aviation projects.
· Strong teamwork skills.
· Knowledge of aviation industry regulations and standards.
· Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Effective communication and collaboration skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

Pay: $63,024.82 – $99,778.30 per year
