The Role & The Team

This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering technology and information assurance strategies that underpin the safety, resilience, and performance of our enterprise systems. The role will focus on working closely with the business in a coaching model, promoting a balanced approach to risk and standards to achieve safe and effective business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team across Information Management, Testing & QA, Technology Risk, Standards and Governance.

Develop and implement technology assurance frameworks and standards.

Drive enterprise-wide compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Oversee vendor and contract management for ICT services.

Act as a central point for information and analytics transformation projects.

Provide strategic advice to senior leaders and external stakeholders.

Work closely with business units to coach and guide them in balancing risk and outcomes.

Promote a culture of safety, performance, and service delivery through effective technology assurance.

The Person

  • You are a seasoned technology leader with:
  • 10+ years in senior technology roles, ideally in regulated or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Strong knowledge of assurance frameworks (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT, ITIL).
  • Proven experience in risk-based technology governance and service delivery.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in ICT or Engineering, and certifications such as CRISC, PMP, or ITIL.
