Territory Sales Manager – Central Coast Region

About the Role
This is a field sales role where you will engage directly with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions. Working collaboratively within Field Sales Teams, you’ll play a vital role in driving our customer-centric business model.
Your primary focus will be to maximise sales across our product range within your designated territory. Based in the field, you will report to the Regional Sales Manager/Sales Lead.
What You Will Do
- Achieve sales targets and maintain activity levels for your territory and products
- Develop and execute territory plans, regularly reviewing progress
- Build and nurture strong relationships with veterinarians, vet nurses, store managers, and other key stakeholders
- Collaborate with the technical services team to deliver impactful technical messaging and boost sales
- Identify customer needs and clearly communicate how our Animal Health products provide superior solutions
- Differentiate our products effectively against competitors
- Participate in promotional activities to maximise sales opportunities
- Provide technical and sales training to wholesalers and customers to ensure consistent messaging
- Manage product complaints, pricing queries, compliance issues, and follow-ups promptly
- Deliver corporate sales presentations to consumer groups, customers, and wholesalers as needed
- Analyse customer data to inform territory planning and target high-value customers
- Continuously improve selling skills, including Action Selling and key account management
- Foster open communication within the sales and marketing teams, sharing knowledge and contributing positively
What You Must Have
- Tertiary qualification in business or science preferred
- Proven commercial success in sales essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with technology (e.g., iPad)
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Ability to explain technical information clearly and simply
- High flexibility, resilience, and problem-solving ability
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills (written, oral, and presentations)
- Strong organisational skills and responsiveness to customer needs
- Collaborative mindset with inclusive behaviours
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Sound decision-making skills for day-to-day activities
