Therapeutic House Supervisor – Intensive Therapeutic Care

Are you ready to lead with purpose and make a real difference in the lives of children and young people? CatholicCare’s Permanency Support Program is expanding, and we’re looking for a passionate House Supervisor to join our Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) team.
As a Therapeutic House Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of a trauma-informed, healing-focused environment—guiding a dedicated team and supporting young people who’ve experienced significant adversity. What Your Days Will Look Like:
- Lead and supervise the daily operations of a therapeutic residential home in Central Coast region.
- Mentor and coach Youth Workers, helping them grow into confident, capable professionals.
- Manage budgets, reporting, and compliance with child protection and safety standards.
- Advocate for the rights and well-being of children and young people in your care.
- Collaborate with Therapeutic Specialist & Case Manager to facilitate young people’s care and therapeutic case plans.
- A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Social Welfare (or a relevant Diploma in Community Services plus a graduate certificate in trauma or child protection).
- At least 3 years of experience working with vulnerable children and young people.
- At least 2 years of team leadership experience in an Out Of Home Care setting.
- A strong understanding of trauma-informed care, child protection, and crisis management.
- An unrestricted Australian drivers licence and access to own car.
- Salary packaging up to $15,900 to increase your take-home pay.
- Flexible Work arrangement = work 3 days in allocated house and 2 days from home or office.
