About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Timber Yard Hand to join our busy team in Strathfield South. The role involves assisting with day-to-day yard operations, putting stock away, replenishing racks, and providing excellent service to our trade and retail customers.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, being part of a team, and takes pride in keeping a yard organised and running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately
- Loading customer vehicles in a safe and professional manner
- Serving customers and providing excellent customer service
- Assisting with general yard duties including stock replenishment
- Keeping the yard tidy and organised
What We’re Looking For:
- Forklift licence preferred but not essential (training can be provided)
- Previous experience in a timber yard, warehouse, or trade environment (advantageous)
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
