We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Tour Guide to join our team. In this role, you will lead and drive our guests on a variety of tours and transfers, as well as conduct hiking tours and ensuring they have a safe, enjoyable, and informative experience. You will be responsible for operating our ex-military vehicle, 'Wombat,' during the Army Truck Adventures, as well as our 4WD for our Full Day Guided Tours which include many locations in the upper Blue Mountains (Wentworth Falls through to Blackheath) and guiding hiking tours with transport to and from train stations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive tour vehicles, including the Army Truck and other company vehicles.
- Provide engaging and informative commentary on the Blue Mountains.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the tours.
- Assist guests with boarding, disembarking, and any other needs during the tours.
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle checks to ensure all vehicles are in top condition.
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and approachable demeanour at all times.
- Stay informed about the latest developments and attractions in the Blue Mountains area.
Requirements:
- A valid NSW driver's LR license with a clean driving record and must know manual.
- Experience in driving large vehicles (our ‘Wombat’ is just over 6m), preferably in a tour or adventure setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Blue Mountains region and its attractions.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Ability to engage and entertain diverse groups of people.
- A passion for adventure, nature, and outdoor activities.
- First Aid certification.
- Availability to work weekends, school holidays and public holidays. *MUST - this is peak season*
- Live in the Upper Blue Mountains

Pay: $31.00 – $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 40 per week
