Train Service Specialist – Bulk (Casual on-going)
North Sydney | Monday–Friday Dayshift | Freight Planning Role
Join our Bulk Planning team as a Train Service Specialist and help design safe, efficient freight solutions for major commercial customers. This is a casual opportunity ideal for someone with a background in transport, logistics, or scheduling.
What you’ll do:
- Plan and schedule train services and critical assets (1–4-week horizon)
- Manage service variations and recovery plans
- Identify and resolve conflicts or constraints in service plans
- Collaborate with operations to improve performance and customer outcomes
What you’ll bring:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, especially over the phone
- Experience in rail, transport, or heavy industry (preferred)
- High attention to detail and ability to thrive under pressure
- A team mindset and stakeholder relationship skills
