The opportunity:
We're hiring DIDO (Drive in / Drive out) Utility/Cleaners from Emerald region and nearby suburbs on a 2/1 roster!
- Perform a variety of tasks, including housekeeping, kitchen hand duties, dining room service, mine site cleaning and tavern operations.
- Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for village residents. Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet service standards and exceed customer expectations.
- Uphold safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency in all areas of responsibility.
To be considered:
- Previous experience in a remote setting or the hospitality industry (preferred).
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia
- Must have a valid police check issued within the last 12 months or be willing to obtain one.
- Must pass a Queensland Coal Board Medical including Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol clearance
- Standard 11 surface mining induction or willing to obtain.
- Safe Food Handling Certificate will be required
- Driver's License/ Photo ID required
- Must have reliable means of transportation to and from site
- First Aide Certificate (desired).
- RSA Certificate (desired).
- Driver's License/ Photo ID required
- Forklift License (desired)
- Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to ensure smooth operations.
