Haileybury is delighted to welcome a qualified and experienced VCE Humanities teacher to join our team at our Senior School City campus, teaching Year 9, 10 and VCE students. This is a full-time, fixed-term leave cover position, commencing in Term 3 and concluding on 31 December 2025. There will be a requirement to teach at our Keysborough campus.
Main Duties:
- Curriculum Delivery and Pedagogy: They deliver the curriculum using Haileybury's Explicit Instruction model, ensuring best pedagogical practices while staying current with modern teaching methods and relevant frameworks.
- Collaboration and Relationships: They prioritize building positive relationships within the school community and collaborate with colleagues to develop blended learning resources and assessments.
- Assessment and Professional Development: They use varied assessment tasks to accurately measure student achievement, integrate digital learning tools into their practice, and actively engage in ongoing professional development.
