An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, committed and customer service focused Village Administrator to join our team at Heathglen on a part-time basis.
Heathglen Village is a vibrant and inclusive community that offers more than just a place to live—it provides a lifestyle of comfort, connection, and purpose. Nestled in a prime location directly opposite Pacific Werribee, Heathglen combines convenience with tranquillity, making it an ideal setting for residents and a rewarding workplace for those who support them.
As the Village Administrator, you’ll be the first point of contact for residents, guests, and contractors – providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the day-to-day operations of the village are seamless. You’ll work closely with the Village Manager, supporting them across a range of administrative and operational tasks including:
- Providing warm, professional customer service to residents, visitors, and contractors
- Assisting with reception duties and managing incoming enquiries
- Supporting the Village Manager and team with administrative tasks and daily operations
- Maintaining accurate data records and assisting with invoicing
- Coordinating contractor inductions and ensure EHS compliance
- Conducting resident welfare checks and follow up as needed
- Creating and distributing newsletters and community updates
- Helping organise and support community events and activities
This role offers 3 days of work per week, working a total of 22.5 hours per week.
- Monday: 9am to 5pm
- Tuesday: 9am to 5pm
- Wednesday/Thursday OR Friday: 9am to 5pm
For this role, you will have excellent diligence and organisational skills, coupled with the ability to work autonomously to complete tasks. Your strong customer service skills will allow you to effectively consult with our residents and visitors.
To be successful in your application, you will have the following;
- Administration and demonstrated customer service experience
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ability to pick up new systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse community
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a bubbly, approachable personality that helps build trust and rapport with residents, families, and team members
- Be highly organised and able to prioritise competing tasks
- Willingness to learn and professionally develop
- A professional, initiative-taking and can-do attitude.
