ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for an all-round superstar to join the food service team! Working across the hotel's food service we are looking for someone who can deliver service with a smile from the till to the table. The job needs someone with a can-do attitude, exceptional service skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
This casual role will require the successful candidate to be reliable and available for days, evenings, and weekends over a 7-day rotating roster. This is the perfect job for a school leaver or working around study, or someone who needs to coordinate work around school pickup times.
- Ensure excellent and professional customer service at all times
- Set up and reset specific activities as directed
- Undertake general waiting and service duties and proficient in professional service
- Consistent and professional delivery of the venue’s products
- Ensure a good understanding of all food and beverage offerings throughout the venue, including being well versed in all menus available, food service systems, and till operations
- Communicate and liaise with team members, kitchen, and other areas of operations
- Efficient and thorough knowledge of the point-of-sale operating system
- To maintain the clean and neat presentation of the restaurant, service, and kitchen area(s) by adherence to all operating policies and procedures
- Follow Standard Operational Procedures and/or Safe Work Procedures for all areas of the hotel at all times as per WHS Act 2012
- Any other duties directed by the hotel's management
