Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service in a healthcare environment? We’re looking for a dedicated Services Assistant to join our team at Wallaroo Hospital and Health Services. If you’re a team player who takes pride in providing efficient and high-quality service in catering, housekeeping, and laundry, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Utility Services: Perform minor repairs, manage laundry services (washing, sorting, folding, ironing), and maintain cleanliness of carpets and windows.
- Catering: Prepare meals, assist with client menu selections, plate and serve food, and handle food complaints with professionalism.
- Material Management: Maintain and order stock, request equipment repairs, and monitor vending machine stock.
- Health Unit Operations: Operate machinery as required, assist colleagues, and follow clear instructions to ensure smooth operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work in diverse settings.
- Flexibility with work hours and rosters.
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.
