Find purpose and impact

Join our Waste Services team and play a key role in supporting the community and environment. As a Weighbridge Attendant, you’ll make an impact assisting facility users by providing clear directions and guidance on correct disposal acceptance and locations, ensuring materials are accepted safely and lawfully. You'll help maintain a clean, compliant facility while supporting Dubbo Regional Council’s transition to resource recovery and circular economy practices.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Providing excellent customer service to users of the facility
  • Ensuring weighbridge operations are carried out efficiently
  • Ensuring fees and charges taken through the facility are balanced and accurately reported
  • Checking waste loads and classification


What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent customer service skills and verbal communication skills
  • General administrative skills, demonstrating a competent level of literacy, numeracy, computer skills and cashier work
  • Class C Drivers Licence
  • Workcover Construction Induction Card or capacity to acquire it
  • The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $54,558 to $63,374.
