About the role
Australian Utilities Management is currently seeking experienced, full-time WHS Advisor to join our team. Ideal candidates will hold relevant Qualifications , and have at least 2 years of relevant experience, be reliable, hard working, safety driven and a good fit for the team.

Tasks & responsibilities
Ensure that the Company’s WHSE systems and documentation is improved, implemented and maintained in accordance with Company standards and relevant regulations.
· Actively promote, coordinate and participate in and undertake WHSE regulatory requirements both onsite and in the office as required.
· Raise WHS awareness through promoting incident prevention, encouraging safe work practices and correcting hazards.
· Maintain Company WHSE accreditations and certifications.
· Undertake internal and onsite audits to ensure processes and practices are being complied with.
· Promote the use of continuous improvement concepts in the workplace through the development and inclusion of safety initiatives and improvement plans.
· Assist in the development and presentation of relevant WHS training including but not limited to toolbox talks.
· Assist with the successful Return to Work of injured workers.
· Lead incident investigations and complete process within appropriate timeframes.
· Work with Plant Manager assisting in ensuring Trucks, Plant and Labour meet Compliance.
· Liaise with clients, contractors, authorities and other stakeholders, and attend meetings as required
. Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with the company’s systems, policies and procedures
· Adopt continuous learning and improvement processes in all aspects of the position.
Qualifications & experience
- Hold a Cert IV in OH&S or a safety diploma.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Drivers License is a requirement
- Strong computer literacy
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Have strong experience working in the Civil Construction industry.
- Ability to work well both autonomously and within a team environment
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and teamwork skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Must hold at least 2 years of relevant experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year
