Vac Truck Industries Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced fitter (general) for a role in our busy workshop preparing specialist vehicle-mounted equipment. The right candidate will:
- · Have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a fitter
- · Have qualifications related to this trade
- · Be capable of interpreting engineering specifications during manufacturing, select and prepare appropriate materials and for assembly, and assemble as required by our high standards
- · Perform fitting and assembling tasks on equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
- Work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures
The base rate for the successful applicant will be between $40 and $45 per hour depending on experience. If you have what it takes we look forward to hearing from you.
