About the Role
As the Youth Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting at-risk students by connecting them with appropriate agencies and services to help them overcome barriers to education and training. You will provide individual case management, tailored support, and, where appropriate, group-based interventions to enhance student engagement and participation in learning.
This AO3 position is part-time at 0.60 FTE (three days per week), with flexibility available around the days worked for the right candidate, offering a supportive and adaptable work environment.
Your Responsibilities
As the Youth Support Coordinator, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Work closely with the school's Guidance Officer.
Refer at risk students to appropriate agencies and support services that will assist students to overcome barriers to education and training.
Provide individual support, case management and, where appropriate, group support to students to maximise their engagement with education and training.
