About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accessory Fitter to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves installing and servicing a wide range of automotive accessories on passenger and light commercial vehicles. This position offers long-term stability and the opportunity to work with a professional and friendly team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Installing automotive accessories such as tow bars, roof racks, bull bars, reversing cameras, alarms, GPS units, lighting systems, and audio equipment.
Removing and refitting interior trims, bumpers, and panels to access installation areas.
Running and connecting electrical wiring using standard fitting instructions and wiring diagrams.
Testing and troubleshooting accessories to ensure correct operation.
Applying sealants and adhesives to weatherproof installations.
Ensuring all work complies with safety, quality, and manufacturer standards.
Maintaining workshop tools and keeping a clean and safe working environment.
Providing professional advice to customers regarding accessory options and aftercare
Qualifications and Experience Required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive accessory fitting or a similar trade.
Relevant Certificate II (preferred but not essential).
Strong practical knowledge of vehicle systems and accessory installation.
Ability to read and interpret fitting guides and wiring diagrams.
High attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Valid Australian driver’s licence.
