APRA AMCOS is a member-owned music rights management organisation, positioned at the intersection of music, data and technology. We have more than 124,000 members who are songwriters, composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play, perform, copy or record our members’ music, and we distribute the royalties to our members.
We are looking for someone with
account management ,
solid administration and communication skills to join our Commercial Operations Division as an
Account Manager , Major Events and Sports. This full-time permanent role is a great opportunity to learn more about music licensing in a supportive team environment.
The role is based in our Ultimo office, which is on Gadigal land.
As an Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- License events and manage client relationships as directed by the Major Events and Sports Manager.
- Provide administrative support to the events licensing team including event research, new business leads, license
creation and database maintenance.
- Research client information to ensure accurate figures are being supplied in relation to music usage and to obtain contact/location details.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- Administration and account management experience
- Internet research skills
- Sound knowledge of the MS office suite, particularly Excel, Teams and Outlook.
