We now have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our Queensland sales team. Reporting to the State Sales Manager and working alongside a highly motivated team, you will drive business growth of our Oyster Bay and Barossa Valley Estate brands and manage a portfolio of accounts in your territory, based in North Queensland. The role would suit someone based in Cains or Townsville.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop high quality relationships with customers and facilitate sustainable account growth.
  • Drive distribution, rate of sale, promotional activity and sales in retail and on trade consistent with Super Premium category positioning and the features and benefits of brands.
  • Build the profile of the brand through customer presentations, brand advocacy, and tastings.
  • Ensure customer alignment with agreements, such as promotional activities and individual joint business plans.
  • Provide feedback to National Accounts team on compliance, promotional adherence and market activity.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience with a FMCG company.
  • Wine industry experience/knowledge is a benefit but not essential as you will get on the job training.
  • The ability to collaborate with diverse customers and teams along with outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Thrive in an autonomous environment, free from office routine and in a high performing culture delivering quality outcomes. Be a highly organised, motivated, and adaptive individual.
