The Role
MLC is currently welcoming expressions of interest from experienced and professional administrators and receptionists to join our pool of casual staff to support various departments across the College. We are seeking individuals who are available for immediate start, and who bring a friendly, adaptable, and service-focused approach to their work.
Casual work may be pre-booked or offered at short notice, depending on the needs of each department. Successful candidates will play a key role in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations while delivering exceptional service to students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality administrative or front desk support in a school environment
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and in-person enquiries with professionalism
- Assist with scheduling, data entry, and general office tasks
- Support a variety of College functions, events, and programs as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold MLC’s values in all interactions
You are an organised, efficient, and approachable professional who demonstrates:
- Previous administration and/or reception experience, ideally in an education or service-based setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence working across multiple systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently or collaboratively across teams
- A proactive, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail
- A valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
