The role
APRA is seeking an Administration Coordinator to provide strategic and responsive support to our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and contribute to the broader activities of the Chief of Staff & Enterprise Services (ChES) business support team.
This role is instrumental in enabling leadership effectiveness through proactive diary and task management, stakeholder engagement, and coordination of divisional activities.
The role requires sound judgement, adaptability, and a strong understanding of divisional goals to ensure seamless execution and support.
The team
The ChES division plays a pivotal role in APRA’s success, encompassing Corporate Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Strategy, Governance, People and Culture, Risk, Finance, and Project and Portfolio Management.
Key responsibilities
Provide direct support to APRA’s CFO and General Managers as required, including diary and task management, travel bookings, and expense reconciliation.
Manage stakeholder engagement across internal and external parties.
Prepare agendas, track attendance, and analyse engagement trends for ChES-led initiatives.
Support divisional reporting and communications through structured coordination and continuous improvement.
Coordinate divisional activities and internal cross-functional events.
Liaise with Administration Coordinators, Executive Assistants, and Business Managers across APRA to align agency-wide activities.
About you
Experience in an executive support and/or business coordination role, or adjacent areas.
Ability to navigate dynamic environments to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
Strong interpersonal, communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills to influence outcomes.
High integrity to manage confidential and sensitive information.
Strong organisational, time management, and multi-tasking capability.
Sound judgment and a proactive approach to problem solving and escalating when needed.
Commitment to working well in a collaborative team environment and flexibility in identifying and making changes to enhance operations.
