EFT/Hours: 0.6 EFT (48 Hours Per Fortnight)
Status: Fixed Term Part Time (until 30/6/2029)
Hourly Rate: PT $31.6500 to $33.2763 per hour plus 12% superannuation
About the Role
NCN Health is seeking an Allied Health Assistant to join our Community Health and Wellbeing team.
The Allied Health Assistant (AHA) works as part of a multidisciplinary Allied Health and Chronic Disease team at NCN Health, providing support to clinicians in the delivery of quality, client focused allied health services across the organisation including our Integrated Community Health unit, Residential Aged Care facilities and the Moira Community Rehabilitation Centre.
The position is responsible for the implementation of individual and group interventions and/or therapy programs as delegated by treating Allied Health practitioners. The AHA will be responsible for a broad range of activities including direct clinical care, maintaining equipment and resources and other administrative support functions to contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of services provided.
As an integral part of the multidisciplinary team at NCN Health, the Allied Health Assistant will work under the direction of Allied Health Practitioners and Nursing staff, supporting a range of services and programs including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Dietetics, Podiatry and Community Nursing, in order to enhance the delivery of treatment for consumers.

- Previous experience in Allied Health Assistant role or working in a multidisciplinary allied health care team.
- Demonstrated experience in coordination and conducting therapeutic group-based activities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal supervision whilst under the direction of allied health professionals in the multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills with ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
