AMA Group is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced and driven leaders in the automotive smash repair industry for the position of Area Manager – VIC Metro South East. This pivotal leadership role oversees four key sites within our network and plays a central role in driving operational performance and cultural excellence across the region.
🔧 About the Role
As Area Manager, you will be responsible for the performance and strategic direction of four high-performing repair sites:
- RMA Hallam
- AMA Collision Mitcham
- AMA Collision Moorabbin
- RMA Knox
Your focus will be on leading operational success, promoting a safety-first, customer-centric culture, and mentoring site leaders to achieve strong results in efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
📋 Key Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing day-to-day operations across all four locations
- Coaching and developing Site Managers to meet business KPIs
- Driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and repair turnaround
- Managing regional budgets, staffing levels, and workflow
- Building strong relationships with insurers, OEMs, and internal stakeholders
- Cultivating a high-performance, team-oriented culture
👤 We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience managing multiple automotive repair sites or a high-volume workshop
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities
- Commercially astute, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to travel across sites regularly (company vehicle provided)
