This is an exciting opportunity for a career driven and experienced Area Sales Manager, based out of Mackay this role will see you lead our high performing North QLD sales team.

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, maintain, and leverage strong customer relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure products and services continue to meet customer requirements
- Lead, coach and develop all members of the external sales in field team to maximize their effectiveness by ensuring superior sales, technical and customer relationship building skills
- Build and execute collaborative regional business plans to drive sales growth across key growth pillars
- Exceed sales and margin budgets through effective sales management and implementation of new sales strategies and procedures
- Conduct regular fieldwork to help develop the skills of sales team members and maintain regular frontline customer contact
- Review actual sales against budgets and taking corrective action against discrepancies
- Use data to highlight opportunities and targeted growth areas within your customer base
- Regional travel throughout North Queensland
To be successful, you will have:
- Extensive experience within a similar role where your key focus was on people management, coaching and mentoring sales staff to ensure they are developing and meeting KPI’s
- Prior experience in client visits and consistently exploring new development opportunities
- Strong communication, collaboration and relationship building skills
- Strong business development experience especially with B2B sales coupled with outstanding negotiation and presentation skills to maximise your potential
- Industry knowledge and/or experience highly regarded
- A valid driver licence is essential
